A native of St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands, Lorraine "Lolo" Milliner is celebrating 13 years of radio in the Baltimore, Maryland area as a radio announcer and host of the Quiet Fire radio show. At a planned gala on Friday at the Forum in North West Baltimore, it is anticipated that the Mayor of Baltimore will give Lolo a proclamation from the city.
The recent monthly rating trends positioned Lolo at number one, consistent with having the number one rated radio show with adults ages 25 to 64. Out of 30 radio stations in the area, Lolo has the largest evening audience. With a format of love songs and slow jams with a mixture of hits and oldies, Lolo's program airs on WWIN-FM (Magic 95.9) from 7:00 p.m. to midnight Monday to Friday. Special festures Lolo offers include dedications, relationship hook-ups, and prize giveaways.
According to Lolo, the most interesting person she has ever met was Dr. Myles Munroe (an educator, motivational speaker, author of "Maximzing Your Potential" and numerous motivational/spiritual books).
